Fair condition, blue hardcover with a dust jacket.  The dust jacket has heavy scuffing, stains, fading, tears, creases, long scratches, and some small pieces torn off, and the top corner of the front inside flap has been cut off.  The cover has some scuffing, and some crushed corners.  The front and back flyleaves have been removed, and the binding where they used to be has been taped over.  The first page has a signature and inscription written by the author in pen!  The first page also has some writing in pencil and eraser marks.  Text and illustrations throughout are clean, clear, and legible.
