Fair condition, thin, brown hardcover with no dust jacket, and with a tape sheath for the spine that is completely detached from the book.  The cover has stains, scuffing, fading, long scratches, tears on the edges of the spine, and some tearing and fraying at the corners and edges.  The internal binding is torn and loose.  The inside covers and flyleaves have stains.  Some pages have the signatures of a previous owner written in pen, or their name as a stamp.  The front flyleaf has some writing in pencil.  Some pages have faint gray scuff marks, but the text and illustrations throughout are clear and legible.
