The Burro Book ~ 1900 ~ Very Rare!

Rare oblong-shaped red softcover booklet published in Colorado in 1900. This is not one of the cheap new reprints; this is the real deal; each page has pictures of burros; very unique.

This copy has some water damage mostly to the top portion, mostly in the margin but sometimes affecting the pictures; still overall in fair condition.

Extremely rare in any condition.

Have you ever heard of a Thief Burro? Indians cut off a piece of their ear if they were caught stealing food. One picture in the book shows such a burro that had so many pieces cut off he virtually had no ears at all!
