Fair-good condition, large, dark blue hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has pale scuff marks, scratches, and some peeling.  The front flyleaf has writing in pencil, eraser marks, and some faint stains.  The edges of some pages have stains.  Title page has a signature written by the author in pen!  The title page also has an unrelated inscription written in pen.  Text and illustrations throughout are clean, clear, and legible.
