1836 — The Family Magazine, Cincinnati, Ohio — Volume One; Numbers 1-12 — Bound in Leather Book

$99.00

Interesting leather binding on this book; It is dated 1836 and has pages 1-216, then 265-272, then 225-472; page 322 is torn; pp.433-34 has 2×4 inch piece missing; beautiful illustrations throughout; unique book.
We see that the main title page is missing, except for a tiny piece, just before the Table of Contents.
There are title pages for January, February, March and April 1936 and one for August but not any others; we’re not guaranteeing that everything is here with the pagination so strange, but still a very unique book.
The binding is quite worn and the paper throughout has some foxing, as expected for such an early work.
