Leather spine; cloth boards are quite soiled and stained; binding is solid. Pages are good and clean throughout; light green end sheets inside both boards; quite a bit of wear on the front hinge of the spine, as is visible in our photograph; the other hinge is quite good. 

No date on title page, but 1855 at the end of the Preface.
