This large size leatherbound book weighs about 8 pounds.

Volume three only (in a four volume set).

Leather binding is a bit worn, but not bad. We’ve seen much worse.

Inside the binding is still holding but staring to separate a bit from the spine. {These books are so heavy they really couldn’t support their own weight for very long.}

This book is quite thick and has nice gold-leafed page edges.
