1900 — Utah Political Pin — James H. Moyle “For Governor”

$30.00

This pin measures about  1¼ inches wide.

James H. Moyle ran for Utah Governor in 1900, when this pin was issued.

Moyle is considered by some to be the founder of the Utah Democrat Party. He was the Democratic Party’s candidate for governor in the 1900 and 1904 elections.

He lost to Heber Manning Wells and to John Christopher Cutler in those years.

He later ran for the Senate and lost to Reed Smoot.

The pin is quite scarce. The only other one we could find online was sold on ebay awhile back, for $36.00.
