1844 — Banner of the Cross. Vol.VI, No.1 (#262) – Vol.VI, No.52 (#313). Full Year Bound Together [hardcover] Rev. John Coleman (editor)

$500.00

Printed in Philadelphia. These old newspapers are all bound together in black buckram. The book is almost 14.5 inches tall.
Very large size hardbound; they have been rebound all together.
Unique religious content. One issue, on page 226 talks about the delusion of Mormonism and claims that Joseph Smith’s plates (new scripture) is supposed to take the place of the Bible (which of course was never true.) In an earlier issue, June 22, 1844, page 193, in this same volume, Mormons are briefly referred to as “miserable Mormons.”
The pages are large and the print is small, so this book is packed with information of a religious nature.
