Headline Focus Wall Map 12: Alaska Volume 7, Number 12, April 12, 1971

Dimensions: 38″ x 25″ unfolded; 9.5″ x 6.5″ folded.  Brightly colored map of Alaska showing the various biomes (forests, tundra, scrub, etc.), major cities, and a few natural features known to exist in 1971.  Shows the oil pipelines running through the state.  Additionally shows the section of the U.S.S.R. closest to the state.  Several blue-scale photographs on map detailing significant events in recent years (as of 1971).  There are a few tears, and staple holes, but otherwise the map is perfectly legible and will hold together.  A fine piece for the avid Alaska fan.
