1917 – The Homesteader (Signed, First Edition) – Oscar Micheaux – Hardcover

The first two pages are loosely connected to the spine. The signature is on the first page. It reads: “To Rev O. W. Ray, Whose acquaintance I value highly, with best wishes, from the author, Oscar Micheaux.” The location written underneath is hard to read, but the date reads “April 26th, 1918” (see images). Many of the pages are lightly stained, but near the end of the book, there are many pages that have a water stain, at the bottom corners of both sides. Page 480 is only attached to the book by the top third or so of the spine. The corners of the cover are slightly bent inwards, and the front cover has some light wear. The back cover is slightly more worn.
