Fair condition, burgundy hardcover with no dust jacket.  The spine has been damaged, with some pieces torn off, a long tear down one edge, and some additional tears.  The cover has scuffing.  Some pages have small stains, creases, or wrinkling.  The inside covers and flyleaves have yellowing.  The front flyleaf has a signature written by the author in pen!  The front flyleaf also has writing in pencil, and eraser marks.  Text and illustrations throughout are clear and legible.
