Fair-good condition, thin, black hardcovers with no dust jackets.  The covers has white scuff marks, scratches, fading, writing in white pen, and slightly crushed corners.  The front inside covers have large patches of adhesive residue.  The front flyleaf has a lengthy inscription written in pen, and some additional writing in pencil and eraser marks.  The titlepages have some stamps.  Text and illustrations throughout are clean, clear, and legible.
