Fair condition, red hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has stains, heavy scuffing, fading, a long tear on the spine, some small pieces torn off, fraying, small tears, and crushed corners.  The internal binding is torn and loose, causing the front flyleaf to be torn free from the binding.  Some pages have stains, tears, small pieces torn off, or notes or marks written in pen or pencil.  The second flyleaf has an inscription written in pen, the ink having been smudged, and some writing in pencil.
