Fair condition, thick hardcover with a mostly tan spine, and no dust jacket.  The cover has scuff marks, fading, tears, small pieces torn off the edges of the spine, and the corners and edges have tears and fraying.  The internal binding is torn.  The title page has a sizeable, but thin, piece torn off, and the previous page has this piece pasted to it.  The title page also has some writing in pencil and some eraser marks.  Some pages have small marks in the text.  Text throughout is legible.
