Fair condition, brown, ex-library hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has bent corners, scuffing, some stains, fading, and ex-library marks written on the spine in white ink.  The internal binding is torn and slightly loose.  The inside front cover has a couple large, ex-library sticker, and a large patch of tearing where another had been removed.  The front flyleaf has the remains of a large, ex-library sticker, and a pencil mark.  The back inside cover has a n ex-library catalog card pouch.  The inside covers and flyleaves have scuffing.  The edges of some pages have ex-library ink stamps.  Some pages have wrinkling, scuff marks, or minor tearing.  The second flyleaf has writing in pencil, and the following page has some ink bleeding.  Text and illustrations throughout are clear and legible.
