Inside the boards the end sheets appear to be newer than the book, so they must have been replaced at some point to reinforce the binding. The outer binding, 3/4 leather, does not appear to have been repaired in any way.

Some ink markings or underlining in the text
Fold outs are all very good.
Some dampstaining on some pages
An extremely rare volume in this early date. Most copies are later printings or cheap reprints! Good to fair condition overall, especially for its age.
