  • Spine is torn a bit along front hinge of spine and part way across the spine
  • This appears to be the rare first edition; very hard to find
  • Inside the boards the end sheets appear to be newer than the book, so they must have been replaced at some point to reinforce the binding. The outer binding, 3/4 leather, does not appear to have been repaired in any way.
  • Title and author name on spine; binding good.
  • Some ink markings or underlining in the text
  • Fold outs are all very good.
  • Some dampstaining on some pages
  • An extremely rare volume in this early date. Most copies are later printings or cheap reprints! Good to fair condition overall, especially for its age.
