Port Jervis Union-Gazette: Jan. 1899 – Feb. 1940 (Genealogical Department)

(Ex-Library)

Published: 1940

Fair condition, large, green hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has stains, heavy scuffing, scratches, the spine has an ex-library sticker, one of the corners is crushed, and the corners and edges have tears and fraying. The internal binding is torn and loose, separating the spine and front cover from the binding of the pages, but the back cover is still attached, holding the cover to the pages.  The inside front cover has a large ex-library sticker.  The first page is missing, having been torn out of the book.  Some pages have small pieces torn off, long tears, tape over some of the tears, dents, scratches, yellowing, some tiny holes and indentations where staples used to be, and all the pages are creased down the center.  The first page that remains has some writing in pencil and a small spot of adhesive residue.  Text throughout is legible.
