Fair condition, large, green, ex-library hardcover with no dust jacket from the late 1800’s (no specific date printed in text, but some illustrations give clues to age).  The cover has a large smudge on the front, and a band of discoloration on the back (as well as a misterious ring indentation).  The cover also has scuff marks and scratches.  The spine is worn on the edges, and the corners and edges have some tearing.  The spine also has an ex-library sticker.  There may be some writing in the text.  Some pages have stains, or ex-library stamps and punches.  Pages 51-54, 257-258  have large squares of text and illustrations cut out of them.  Otherwise, the rest of the text and illustrations throughout the book are intact………………………………………………….v120 Bx1038
