Fair condition, hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has heavy scuffing, fading, tears, fraying, and peeling.  The cover is completely detached from the pages.  The inside covers have some tears and small pieces torn off.  The title page and a couple pages after have been torn out and are missing.  The first page has an ink stamp, writing in, pen, pencil, and eraser marks.  Some pages have stains or small tears on the edges, or some creases.  Text and illustrations throughout are clear and legible.
