Fair condition, thick, black, 3/4 leather, hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has heavy scuffing, fading, tears, fraying, bent corners and stains.  The internal binding is torn, causing some pages to be slightly loose in their binding.  The inside covers and flyleaves have stains.  The front inside cover has a stamp.  The front flyleaf and title page have writing in pencil and eraser marks.  The edges of some pages have tears.  Some pages have minor stains in the margins, but the text and illustrations throughout are clear and legible.
