Fair condition, 3/4 leather hardcover with a brown spine and no dust jacket.  The cover has tears, pieces torn off (mostly large pieces on the spine), peeling, fraying, heavy scuffing, and some dents.  The internal binding is torn and slightly loose.  The inside covers and flyleaves have stains on their edges.  The front flyleaf has writing in pencil and eraser marks.  Text and illustrations throughout are clean, clear, and legible.
