Fair condition, thick, black hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has heavy scuffing, some tears, peeling, fraying, and the cloth has some creasing.  The internal binding is torn and loose, but does have tape holding the inside covers to the flyleaves.  Some pages have stains, tears or tape, but the text and illustrations throughout are clear and legible.  The front flyleaf has writing in pencil and eraser marks.
