Fair condition, thick, black hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has scuffing, fading, bent corners, some small tears, and fraying.  The edges of the pages have ink stamps.  The internal binding is torn, causing the pages to be mostly detached from the cover.  The inside covers and flyleaves have yellowing at the edges.  The front inside cover has writing in pen.  The front flyleaf has an ink stamp, writing in pencil, and eraser marks.  Text and illustrations throughout are clean, clear, and legibe.
