Fair condition, large hardcover with a spine that has discolored to a tan-gray color.  The cover has heavy scuffing, stains, the name of a previous owner engraved upon it, fading, discoloration, and bent corners.  The internal binding has some small tears. Some pages have ink stamps, writing or marks in pen or pencil, small stains or bits of residue.  The front flyleaf has writing in pencil, eraser marks, and a patch of adhesive residue.  Text and illustrations throughout are clear and legible.
