Fair condition, black hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has scuffing, some fading, and the spine has some adhesive residue, and the remains of an old sticker.  Some pages have ex-library ink stamps on the edges.  The internal binding is slightly loose, especially where its starting to split in some places.  Some pages have stains, wrinkling, or creases.  The flyleaves have writing in pencil, and eraser marks.  The back flyleaf has a large ex-library sticker, and the remains of another sticker.  The back inside cover has an ex-library catalog card pouch.  Text and illustrations throughout are clear and legible.
