Fair condition, 3/4 leather book with a brown spine and no dust jacket.  The cover has tears, pieces torn off, peeling, fraying, heavy scuffing, scratches, some fading, and slightly bent corners.  The internal binding is torn.  Some pages have small pieces torn off, stains, creases, or wrinkling, but the text and illustrations throughout are clear and legible.  The second flyleaf and title page have writing in pencil and eraser marks.
