4 fair condition, thin, staple-bound softcovers.  The covers have scuffing, scratches, creases, some small pieces torn off, and tiny tears at the edges.  The cover of Unit 8 has a stain on the back that carries through several pages, but the text and illustrations throughout this vol. and the other 3 are clear and legible.  The title pages have ink stamps, writing in pencil, and eraser marks.
