Several years ago while the writer was serving as a Bishop in one of the Wards of the Church the question of personal participation in terms of time often came up for discussion. Such questions as these are typical: How much time do I devote to religious activity? How much time is really expected of me in my religious position? Is this man more faithful because he spends more time in religious activities than does his neighbor?
