Fair-good condition, thick, black, ex-library hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has some scuffing, small stains, some minor bubbling, and the spine has some ex-library writing in white and yellow ink.  The inside front cover has the remains of a large, ex-library sticker, fading stamps, and some minor wrinkling.  The edges of a few pages have some stains that do not carry to the page margins.  The flyleaves have some small stains, writing in pencil, and eraser marks.  The pages have some faint yellowing at the edges.  Text and illustrations throughout are clean, clear, and legible.
