Fair condition, 3/4 leather hardcover with no dust jacket, and with a brown spine.  The cover has tears, pieces torn off, heavy scuffing, scratches, some fading, some fraying, and bent corners.  The internal binding is torn and loose, causing some pages to be partially detached from the binding.  Some pages have creased corners, minor stains, or tears at the edges, but the text and illustrations throughout are clear and legible.  The second flyleaf has writing in pencil and eraser marks.
