Leather; Gild decor on front board; gold-leafed page edges; fancy matching end sheets inside front and back covers. Spine has been professionally rebacked/repaired, and looks very nice with raised bands; clean text throughout.

Book comes in a very professionally made and expensive clam shell box, with marbled boards, decorative leather spine with “Book of Mormon” and “1874” printed on it.

There were two 1874 editions the RLDS Church did; one in Plano, Texas, and this one in Lamoni, Iowa.
