1877 — Book of Mormon — Black Leather Binding — Salt Lake City Edition

Book of Mormon. Cannon and Young: Salt Lake City, 1877. 558 pages. Black leather binding is in tact; text completely clean throughout. End sheets and paste down end sheets are cream white, and they are not originals.

The black leather is in quite good condition; the spine was professionally repaired; you wouldn’t even know it if you didn’t look closely. The gold letters BOOK OF MORMON are a bit faded but still visible on the spine. An absolutely great condition volume; for such an early Salt Lake City edition (the first being 1871). The title page is good with one small stain and some very slight soiling. These early Salt Lake editions are getting more and more difficult to locate!
