Replica of First Edition 1830 Book of Mormon — A “Blake Fake”

This is a replica of the first edition, made by Steve Blake, sometimes jokingly referred to as a “Blake Fake.” They are made to look like the 1830 First Edition Book of Mormon (for those who don’t want a cheap reprint and cannot afford or don’t want to pay the outrageous price for a real first edition.)

This copy has a fake Joseph Smith Jr. signature on the top of the title page. Inside the back cover it states: “Salt Lake Valley, 1847” and “Orrin Porter Rockwell, Book #2 Salt Lake Given To me By Joseph 1831.” It also has words on the page edges.

Fun for those who want to show what a first edition looks like.
