Latter-Day Revelation ~ Rare Over-Hauled Edition of the Doctrine & Covenants ~ 1930

The Church asked James Talmage to edit the Doctrine & Covenants down to a more manageable size, deleting sections that were not as relevant to the times (1930). This is the English edition volume, green cloth, very good condition. [It was done in 3 other languages as well.]

But the Saints pretty much rejected a down-sized version of this Standard Work. The book never caught on and regular editions continued after this experiment. (So it was just a bit controversial.)

This copy is slightly worn on the front cover but the back cover and spine are very good; the binding is solid, and the text is clean!
