Fair condition, small hardcover with no dust jacket.  Cover is heavily worn, scuffed, scratched, and has a little fraying at the spine, edges, and corners.

The inner binding is torn, with the first several pages being torn from their binding.  In addition to some pencil marks.

The front fly leaf has a gift inscription written in black ink that says: “Fourth Prize Awarded to Frannie Amelia Smith by the Sunset Sabbath School as a reward for punctual attendance, good conduct, and lessons (?) in attending Sunday school during the year 1881.”

Otherwise, the text throughout the book is clean, clear, and legible.
