Fair condition, ex-library hardcover with a laminated dust jacket.  The dust jacket has tears, scuffs, stains, small pieces torn off, and an ex-library sticker on the spine, with some adhesive residue around it.  The dust jacket has been taped to the covers of the book.  The internal binding is torn.  The inside covers have ex-library stamps, and marker.  The back flyleaf has the remains of a large due-date sticker and adhesive residue.  Some pages have been either partially or completely torn from their binding, but are still included (these have small tears and creases at the edges and corners).  The second title page has an ex-library stamp, and marker.  Some pages have stains, but these do not interfere with the legibility or clarity of the text.
