Fair condition, black hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has scuffing, bent corners, some small teras and fraying at the corners, and a long crease on the spine.  The front inside cover and front flyleaf have some small patches of tearing.  The front flyleaf has some writing in pen on the back.  The back flyleaf has some writing in pen.  The title pages have writing in pencil and eraser marks.  Some pages have small tears and creasing at the edges.  Text and illustrations throughout are clear and legible.
