Fair condition, black hardcover with no dust jacket with a repaired spine.  The cover has stains, fading, heavy scuffing, tears, and fraying.  The binding is slightly crooked.  There are new end sheets.  The first two flyleaves have writing in pencil and eraser marks.  Some pages have stains, small pieces torn off, or creases.  Text and illustrations throughout are clear and legible.
