Fair condition, maroon hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has some scuff marks, stains, fading, and fraying at the corners.  The internal binding was torn and has been taped back up.  The flyleaf has writing in pen.  The first few pages have tears, with page vii having a large tear and fraying at the edges, with creases at the corners.  Some pages throughout have stains that do not interfere with the legibility of the text or illustrations.  The title page has writing in pencil……………..v111 Bx1525E
