Fair condition, maroon hardcover with no dust jacket.  The cover has fading, heavy scuffing, fading, scratches, and a patch of adhesive residue from where a sticker had been removed.  The internal binding has been taped with black tape.  Some pages have been slightly miscut, and have wider edges, with some creases, small tears, or small pieces torn off of those edges.  The first page has writing in pencil, eraser marks, and a patch of tearing where adhesive had been removed.  Some pages have tiny stains.  Text and illustrations throughout are clean, clear, and legible.
