Binding may not be of the period but somewhat later, but it is old with the end sheets laid down properly. Ends on page 366 so there are clearly pages, or a page, after that that his missing.

Some foxing and some water staining to bottom margin, but overall good condition with an ink inscription in the middle of the title page; small chip out of top of spine. Slight cracking along hinges at the top. Some kind of smudge or scrape on the spine, which is visible in our photograph.

Index leaf has some clear tape on it.
