Published in New York by D. Appleton and Company, in 1867. One of the more important early anti-Mormon works on Mormonism.

Binding is good; chip at top of spine; toward the bottom of the spine there is a torn piece of the cloth; and there’s a smaller chip on the back side of the binding on the spine hinge. Text is clean throughout. There’s a little bit of tape along the inner margin inside the front cover; there is no free end sheet or frontispiece. Overall a pretty good condition copy.
