1892 — Resolutions of Respect Towards Elder Daniel B. Rawson by the High Council of the Weber Stake of Zion — 2 Page Handwritten Document

$200.00

Unique nicely penned 2-page document commemorating the life of Elder Daniel B. Rawson, who being prosecuted for polygamy fell ill and died (photo below).

Daniel B Rawson (1827 - 1892) Profile

Document is signed at the end by Joseph Stanford, Joseph Hall and Richard Ballantyne. (Not sure if this is the same Richard Ballantyne who founded the Sunday School in the LDS Church).

NOTE: It appears that the signatures may not actually be signatures. All three signatures are handwritten in the same handwriting, and in the same handwriting as the entire document, so we have no way to know which one of them, if any, actually wrote the document. It clearly could have been a clerk.

A truly unique little item no matter what!
