Fair-good condition, thick, tan hardcover with a dust jacket.  The dust jacket has some scuff marks.  The inside front cover and the front flyleaf have lengthy inscriptions written in pen.  The front flyleaf and first title page have some writing in pencil and some eraser marks.  The second title page has the signatures of both editors written in pen!  The back flyleaf has a stain and shares a deep, long scratch with the last few pages of the books.  Text and illustrations throughout are clean, clear, and legible.
