Lucy W. [Woodruff] Smith signed the book inside the front cover. She was married to Church President George Albert Smith, his only wife, and who had passed away before he became President. She actually served with him, on his mission, in the Southern States Mission in Tennessee. Click here for more info.

There is a 3×5 card inside the book that states: “This book was obtained from the Smith family and is signed by Lucy W. Smith, wife of President George Albert Smith.”

The book itself is in pretty nice condition with just a few underlined pages, and some damp staining in the back of the book; binding is quite nice.
