Large dark brown leather bound with gold lettering. Shelf wear, scuffs and scrapes, tearing and color discoloration on both covers and the spine. A large tear running down the length of the spine. The first five pages of the edition are missing, so it is unclear whether the edition is from 1888 through 1891. Some pencil markings on the first page, but otherwise the text throughout is clean, clear, and legible. The pages are barely holding on to the spine. In fair condition.
