This scarce little pocket-sized missionary songbook contains 188 songs in 232 pages, selected for use by Latter-day Saint missionaries serving in the Southern States Mission, including selections associated with Evan Stephens, songs from the Sunday School book and hymnal, and other popular religious songs of the period. This is a words-only edition, with no musical notation. A fascinating and uncommon artifact of early Latter-day Saint missionary work in the American South. Softcover, with some tape along the spine. The text is mostly clean, with the expected signs of age and use.
