1912 — The House of The Lord — 1ST Edition — James E. Talmage — With Facsimile Dust Jacket

This has become one of the most collectible LDS books. This is the 1912 first edition, when the Church first published several plates (photographs) from the interior of the Temple in Salt Lake City.

The book rarely if ever comes with the original jacket, and the jacket by itself has been known to bring pushing $1,000 its so rare. This is not the original jacket, but a facsimile placed in a mylar cover.

The book also often comes with many or all the plates having been removed and sold separately by ebayers and the like. This book has them all.

The binding is a bit soiled, but not real bad. Some margins have slight water damage; there’s a name inked inside “Lucy Young.” A good copy overall.
