Stamped more than once inside the book is the name Lamoni Call. He was an anti-Mormon author who like all the rest spread falsehoods about the LDS Prophet Joseph Smith. While this book actually has nothing to do with Mormons or Joseph Smith (its a novel and not about Mormonism). 

One might wonder why Lamoni Call owned this book in the first place. (Maybe to get ideas? Who knows?)
